About This Piece
"The Twins "
From collection Red Constant
The two red circles appeared as if in conversation with each other, complete and self-contained, needing nothing from the world around them. They didn't compete for attention—they simply shared it, like two facts that, once stated, cannot be unheard. The black marks that flowed between and around them had no choice but to acknowledge their presence, bending and shifting course as if the circles were stones in a stream.
Some black lines moved with confidence, cutting bold paths across the white expanse. Others seemed to hesitate, trails growing faint as they approached the red domains, unsure how to proceed in the face of such clarity. It wasn't that the red circles demanded attention—they simply existed with such completeness that attention naturally flowed toward them.
This piece belongs in a space where ideas are exchanged. Hang it where the changing light throughout the day will subtly shift the visual hierarchy, allowing different conversations to emerge as shadows lengthen and retreat.
